CLIENT/PROJECT: Laidrey Coffee RoastersWhen I first started working with Laidrey, what stood out to me was how much warmth and intention existed inside the space.
The shop felt thoughtful and lived-in. The baristas really knew and cared for the regulars.
I wanted Laidrey’s social media to feel like being there in the shop.
How do I make someone who has never been to Laidrey feel what it is like to be there?
The goal was to make the feed look and feel more alive, not just product shots, but personality.
I wanted someone to feel like they knew the people behind the counter, what the drinks tasted like, and the feeling of sitting in the coffee shop without ever being there.
THE APPROACH
The People
I started putting more emphasis on the people behind the bar. I made the baristas part of Laidrey’s story because they are the ones that people will interact with when they come into the shop.
The Space
I made the space another character. I looked for the light, textures, quirks, and distinct details that made Laidrey feel like Laidrey.
The Product
The drinks were part of the experience, I made sure to show the process and intention that goes into every cup. I wanted people to see the story behind what they were ordering.
The Community
Laidrey was creating a place where people could gather. I made sure to show that they weren’t just selling coffee, they were bringing people together.
